Increase your online
leads with a new
WordPress website

Introduction

Dear {{first_name}},

Thank you for choosing ABC Web Solutions as your WordPress website design company.

As we discussed during our meeting, the main objective of this project is to increase the number of new leads through the website.

The plan is to achieve it by doing the following:

Firstly, we will figure out the real value {{company_name}} provides beyond the mechanics like 'tax advice' and create some consistent messaging that speaks to your audience and use it throughout the entire brand.

Secondly, employ modern lead-generation tactics to increase the current conversion rate from 0.5% to around 3-4%.

In the next few chapters, we will explain further the details of our plan and how to achieve the mentioned objectives.

Please read through the information carefully and if it suits your needs, just use our 'E-Sign' system right here in the proposal. Once the proposal is accepted and signed, we can get started!

Your new website

For over twelve years in the business, ABC Web Solutions re-designed hundreds of websites similar to yours.
To get started, we would like to point out several components that have to be changed to benefit your website and achieve the goals you're hoping for:

Content for the site:

Homepage

A solid call to action attracting email subscribers from which a slow burn relationship will be formed.

About us

We suggest taking new team photos and action shots of people working. These are great and far better than stock photos which unfortunately litter your industry.

Case studies

Listing clients is great, testimonials are better but giving it some context with a case study is amazing. Adding a range of case studies to your website will serve you for years to come.

Our services

The best way to add them to your website is by splitting them into sections named after your main services and adding the matching headers.

The headers we had in mind were the following: 'Bookkeeping', 'Saving Tax', and 'Audits'.
By doing this, potential clients will search for solutions to their problems in a fast and effective manner.

Call to action

We will strategically place a contact form at the bottom of each page, offering the possibility to email any question a visitor may have in the process.

Process

What exactly working with {{company_name}} looks like?
What is required of your clients?
How often do you keep in touch with them?

It is absolutely worth detailing your process in advance, as it gives your potential clients an insider look into your company and sets the right expectations.
The more detailed your processes are explained, the fewer questions you will receive through the contact forms.

Pricing

Asking for a price estimate is probably one of the most common questions you receive from potential clients.

In our experience, giving an indication or a brief estimate of your pricing is definitely worth it. It will reduce the number of inquiries and increase the quality of the website.
If you are uncertain about disclosing that information, we can give it a test run and evaluate the effect it has on the website.

Resources

In this day and age, it is vital to share advice and articles on your website, preferably in a blog form. It is the best way to win potential clients over and introduce them to your work techniques.

To get started, we would take a look at the "Frequently asked questions" from your targeted clients and use them as a resource for the content topics.

Why choose WordPress?

27% of the internet runs on WordPress

If at any point in the future you decide to switch to a different website design company, the fact we are using WordPress will ensure almost any web developer will be able to continue our work.

Another good thing about using WordPress is the fact that a lot of small issues can be resolved by a simple Google search.

Here is an example:
Let's search Google for something very specific: "How to wrap text around my text in WordPress"

Step-by-step guides

There is so much support and help available for WordPress. It can be fiddly at times, but in general, it doesn't get much better than that. Many different softwares have tried to copy its simplicity and nothing has come close to it so far.

This is why we believe it is the best platform to build websites - certainly for small businesses.

Relax, you are never really stuck with WordPress!

Process & Timescales

Step 1

Design interview

To start our design project, we need to get to the bottom of who you are, what you stand for, and who you stand beside.

Only then we can begin to portray the value you offer in a way that resonates with the people who matter: the clients you want to do business with

Step 2

Design presentation

Three new design concepts will be made. Naturally, there will be a common theme but we will try to think outside of the box and come up with a few different solutions. The brainstorming and comparison part is often where the best ideas come from.

We will go through these options and decide which direction to take and which adjustments to make.

Step 3

Website content

Now that we have your design decided on, we can begin to construct the website. Our copywriter will be in touch with you to help put your ideas down through the "voice" of your new brand.

Any photos attempted to use on the website will have to be gathered at this stage.

Step 4

Website build

Using everything we have gathered, we will start building your website. Once it is done, we will present it to you and go through the details and finishing touches following the objectives we have originally set.

Any amends are made at this stage.

Step 5

Launch

The launch process has to be carefully considered. We need to ensure email addresses will not go down, the site doesn't have any downtime, any old links are re-directed to the new pages, as well as several other things.

The following process has been done by our company many times before, and we have developed a detailed checklist we are working with, that has not failed us once.

We make sure to launch the website late on Friday's, as that gives us a chance to iron out any possible issues. You can sleep well knowing we will be on-call over your launch weekend to ensure everything goes according to plan.

In general, it takes us between
3 to 6 weeks to get the website live

Case study | ABC Legal Company

Goals

ABC Legal Company contacted us when they needed to re-brand and build a new website. They have been around for over 20 years and operated with the same marketing material they started with. The only new business inquiries were from referrals. They had a website but it hasn't been touched in over 10 years.

Proposed solution

ABC Web Solutions suggested to re-brand the company. Same name, but new logo and color scheme, along with a new website with an emphasis on bringing in new leads.

Results

Eight weeks from launching the new website, they have gone from one new lead a week to an approximate of nine every week. On average, they were converting one in five inquiries.

At the current rate, it means that instead of getting one new client every five weeks, they are bringing in one new client every four days.

Here is what ABC Legal Companies' Managing Partner had to say about this experience:
The new website has surpassed all my expectations and paid for itself fully within the first few weeks.
This is incredibly exciting!

2. We grab the low hanging fruit available first. This fund pays back your investment as quickly as possible.

The amount involved = £200,000... In profit!

There is the amount of money that is directly deposited from one company to another, and then there is, what we call, "The Real Cost".

This is the cost of our service, factored into the cost of you doing business, then working out what's left.
During our initial conversation, we asked you what the average transaction value was and the rough amount of profit in each job.

Using that as a starting point,
here is the real cost:

You are currently getting five leads each month from the website and based on that, traffic is about a 0.5% conversion rate. You are also converting one in five leads into clients.

Our guarantee states that we will get it to 2% which will be twenty leads each month.

Your average deal is worth £6,000 p/a, which with your new monthly lead count and assuming your conversion rate stays the same, is four new clients each month at £18,000 p/a increase.

With this laid out, it's clear that by the second month, your investment will be paid back by annual recurring revenue.

By the end of year one, you will bring in £202,000 of recurring revenue.

Our Guarantee

Like most business purchases, there is always a level of risk and uncertainty in the success of a project.
We want to completely remove that risk from you and place it on ourselves.

In short, if we don't live up to our promises...
you don't have to pay for our product. Sound fair

Guarantee terms

The guarantee is only valid providing you follow our guidance and our Terms & Conditions, but other than that, we don't achieve you don't pay. You can't beat that.
